Description
The current way endorsement changes are displayed has been reported to be somewhat confusing to affiliates and customers alike. This needs to be changed to be much more concise and clear. Currently, make, model, and value remain static on the declarations page even after being changed post-endorsement. We now need all fields altered in the endorsement process to be reflected in the declarations page, and the endorsement text be generated to show exactly what was changed including previous data and new data.
For example:
Existing policy shows a 2015 BMW M235i valued at $22,000 with a VIN of 12345678910111213 and the customer calls in because they purchased a new car. After the endorsement is completed, the declarations page will reflect the new information of a 2023 Tesla Model 3 valued at $42,000 and a VIN of 13121110987654321. The endorsement page will show the following:
Vehicle Year changed from 2015 to 2023
Vehicle Make changed from BMW to Tesla
Vehicle Model changed from M235i to Model 3
Vehicle Value changed from $22,000 to $42,000
Vehicle VIN changed from 12345678910111213 to 13121110987654321
What is described here is a basic auto policy, but all of these changes need to be carried over to any part of a policy that can be endorsed, and for watercraft as well. Please make sure these changes are also carried out on the Progressive cluster.
Please also look into the underwriter reports and verify when a lien holder is changed, that information is included in the data they receive.

Hi Leo,
So far looks great!
In a discussion with TC, she noticed the following issues:
(1) Daily policies are blocking "non-premium" bearing edits. These need to be allowed for any term-length policy
NOTE: Non-premium bearing updates include:
Number of additional drivers on this policy
Model Year
VIN Number
License Plate Number
License Plate State/Province
Lienholder Name
Address
Address (line 2)
City
State
Zip Code
Account Number (may enter n/a if not applicable)
Looking through the rest of my notes, this is the only remaining issue. Thanks Leo!!

Hi Leo.
I've received an email from TC... In addition to the requested fix above, please fix the following:
When adding a trailer for zero value (liability only), there should be no fees charged.
Thanks,

Hi Leo,
I have experienced the following issues that need to be corrected.
(1) In this test, I purchased a policy using the scenario presented at the top of this case. The original policy was purchased with a vehicle worth 22K (A and C). In the endorsement, I increased the vehicle's value to 42K (D). Since this is a premium-bearing change, the rating should be invoked showing the new policy cost of $156.56 (E), with a difference of $78.61 (F). See "Image One" below
(2) Premium-bearing changes do not apply to daily policies. Only non-premium bearing changes.
(3) Upon executing the endorsement, The changes appear to affect the towed unit on the original policy. The towed unit's information should not change when only the primary vehicle is updated. See "Image Two" below
(4) When adding a new towed unit that is 'liability only', the rating should not be invoked. See "Image Three" below

Hello George!
When adding a new trailer, the redirecting logic isn't like that. Please see the image attached. If we fill the form of new trailer and click on "Submit" button, then it doesn't go to add_trailer_endorsement.mhtml but after saving information in the backend, it redirects to the first add_trailer.mhtml. And this logic is what we implemented in the codebase.

Hi Leo,
Some items are fixed. The following remain.

Fixed!!
----------------
----------------
*FAIL - I issued a "premium bearing endorsement" on a daily policy. This is restricted to daily and annual policies.
- ----------------
----------------
*FAIL - The towed unit is still being updated along with the primary vehicle
- ----------------
----------------
*FAIL - Adding a towed unit for 'liability only' still invokes the rater. Adding a liability-only trailer should not create an additional charge, even when there is a rate change. This is replicated as follows:

Hi Leo,
Another issue has arisen during the testing process. TC just informed me that ineligible endorsements are accepted. :
In this case, Chubb has a maximum full coverage value of 75K. If you go beyond this, the 'new policy cost' is $0.00, which should block the endorsement. I hope this can be corrected with a quick logic test:
If the returned rate for "New policy Cost" is <=0, then return the form with the error message "This change is not allowed due to a change in coverage."

Hi Leo,
This should be the final 'fix' with endorsements. All other issues pass.
(1) When a 'Motorhome' policy, the model is not updated or listed in the endorsement as a change.
(2) In the endorsement process, the change to the model is not listed as an item for change. Please see the graphic below.
Thanks,

IN addition to the issue above, the model name is not populated in the endorsement (1).

Hi Leo,
Some new items have been exposed. Please fix the following issues:
(1) I am being charged an additional premium on motorhomes when changing the make and/or model. This appears to be related to using the wrong rater. (see image)
(2) On the endorsement for motorhomes, the make is still not represented accurately. (see image)
(3) New item: Please block any changes to vehicle type. Return the form with the error message 'ineligible risk'. (see image)

It appears these changes are still invoking the rater, despite not being premium-bearing changes:
Non-premium bearing updates include:
Number of additional drivers on this policy
Model Year
VIN Number
License Plate Number
License Plate State/Province
Lienholder Name
Address
Address (line 2)
City
State
Zip Code
Account Number (may enter n/a if not applicable)
