From TME:

Hi George,

We Insure - Ostrander (this is the parent) URL weinsure100 - is not allowing users to pull reports. Steps I took:

I have double checked all the settings for the affiliate account and access appears to be the same as any other. Checked the USER, in particular and it appears he is set with all the right access.
I went ahead and set-up a new sample user to see if it could be something else causing it and I still was unable to create the report - .
I have since checked a few other non-We Insure affiliates just to be sure this was isolated, the ones I checked pulled a report just fine.
NOTEWORTHY - if you recall, We insure agents were uploaded and not manually added. Jack was on there as a user. I did remove Jack from the main one/parent link thinking that might be the issue, but no change and still could not pull the report.

Really need your help to see why since I am out of ideas.

On a different note, it seems some users are randomly removed from the affiliate account, users I know that were on certain accounts. Doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason why, but have had to go back and add them back on as users when they call and can't access. Perhaps something else is going on there, not really sure.

Thank you George

Hi, George.

Chetan was able to test this in his local and he was able to see the reports when logged in as affiliate user.

Greg checked commissions configuration for weinsure126 and looks like it's not set. That could be the reason.

I have also tried to replicate this in staging but looks everything is fine.

Can you also verify this once on https://polmaker-ms-staging.herokuapp.com/reports/product_owner_commissions ?

Thanks,
Abhilash Reddy

They aren't looking for access to commission reports, but the TME report under the regular reports area. Please look into why they are not able to see that.

Re: "Hey George, regarding ticket https://pm.polmaker.com/issues/577#change-4902 I've tried generating TME reports present in regular using affiliate admin, and i can able to get the report with data. Do you know how can I reproduce the error."

Hi Sai,

I, too, am unable to replicate the issue. On the live server, I created a test user, "," enabled for "Issue policies under this Affiliate" and "View reports and Excel." These are the same settings for the account "" that appears to be having issues.

Please verify in the backend that the following accounts are set up correctly as "":

""
""
""
" "
""
""
""
""
""
""

Thanks,

Hi George,

Me and Abhi looked into it. We have tried creating the TME report using user account "" and we can able to successfully generate them and it seems there is no issues now. As this ticket was created long back, there are lot of code changes from then so may be it has been fixed and can't replicate this issue now. And there won't be any caching issue too as we had fixed and pushed that code live weeks ago.

Let us know if you finding anything on this.

Thanks,
Sai Chetan.

Hi Sai,

I have researched and found the following issue that might be the reason for not seeing the report. For this example, I will focus on two sub-affiliates.

In commissions, there are two sub-affiliates for weinsur100. These sub-affiliates are "weinsure127 (Maureen)" and "weinsure463 (Adam)". Both these sun-affiliates are setup the same way...

When logged in as " (P:need2finish), I see "weinsure463 (Adam)", but not "weinsure127 (Maureen)" in commission reports. THis also seems to impact the generated report, as "weinsure127 (Maureen)" sales are not indicated.

Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you,

Hi George,
As we have discussed earlier in slack I've implemented adding zero commissions on ledger entry during the purchase.

PR: https://github.com/International-Ins/polmaker-ms/pull/545
Let me know if there is any issues.

Thanks,
Chetan.
