In the application form, we need to add an additional option on property type of "Rental", which will eliminate all following questions, aside from postal code, theft prevention, and distance from water. Ratings should work without the options being entered, will test to verify upon completion.

Hi Greg,

I am able to toggle questions based on the Property_type = 'Rental', however what should be the default values to the questions which we will be removing in case of property_type = 'Rental'.

Hi Vaibhav,

Here are more details for the MXHO Rental project:

(1) First Step Quote App “Insured Property Details”

(A) Property Type: Please add a new option token to be called “Rental”. Its effect will be the hiding of options C,D,E,F,G,J,K
(B) Postal Code of Insured Property: Keep this field visible and function.
(C) What is the Square footage of your home/townhome/condo? : HIDE. The default value shall be “1 - 328 Square Feet”
(D) Construction Quality: HIDE. The default value shall be “Economic.”
(E) Suggested Replacement Cost for Building(s) and value: HIDE.
(F) Replacement Cost for Building(s): HIDE. The default value shall be “$5,000.00 USD”
(G) Construction Cost Estimate Guide & Condo webpage: HIDE this link.
(H) Primary Use: HIDE. The default value shall be “Owner Occupied”
(I) Distance from the Ocean or a River: Keep this field visible and function.
(J) Theft Prevention Measures: Keep this field visible and function.
(K) Construction Type: HIDE. The default value shall be “Masonry/Concrete/Steel”
(L) What is the construction of your roof? HIDE. The default value shall be “Masonry/Concrete”

(2) Second Step of Quote App – Completely hide “Building Coverage”

(A) Building Coverage: COMPLETELY HIDE THIS SECTION
(B) Replacement Cost for Building(s): HIDE. The default value shall be “$5,000.00 USD
(C) Deductible for Building(s): HIDE. The default value shall be “$500.00 USD
(D) Glass Breakage Coverage: HIDE. The default value shall be “$1,000.00 USD
(E) Glass Breakage Deductible: HIDE. The default value shall be “$500.00 USD
(F) Loss of Use: HIDE. The default value shall be “$1,000.00 USD
(G) Debris Removal: HIDE. The default value shall be “$5,000.00 USD
(H) Earthquake Limit for Building(s) $5,000.00 Subject to a 2% Deductible and a 20% Coinsurance or your part of the loss: HIDE
(I) Hydro-Meteorological Events Limit for Building(s): $5,000.00 Subject to a 2% Deductible and a 10% Coinsurance or your part of the loss: HIDE

This has passed my tests for the first two pages of the program. I'm not sure if the dec page needs modification geared toward rentals. Let me know if or when you would like to discuss further modifications.
